THE LUBECK FELLOWSHIP IN JEWISH NONPROFIT AND COMMUNAL LEADERSHIP
The Lubeck Fellowship in Jewish Nonprofit and Communal Leadership is a competitive leadership program designed to develop the next generation of Jewish communal leaders. Open to exceptional volunteers who demonstrate a strong commitment to community and service, the Fellowship offers an eight-week virtual seminar featuring renowned nonprofit professionals, philanthropists, and business executives.
Participants gain practical training in nonprofit management, fundraising, advocacy, Jewish values, and leadership in the digital age. Fellows receive a Certificate in Jewish Nonprofit and Communal Leadership and become eligible for tailored career opportunities within Chai Lifeline.
Lieutenant Governors Award
The Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award for Students pays tribute to students who not only complete the required number of volunteer hours to graduate, but who go above and beyond. Each year, an award is given to one graduating student at each of Ontario’s secondary schools.

How do I become a volunteer for Chai Lifeline Canada?
To become a volunteer, you would need to fill out the application which can be found here. After you send in your application, one of our Volunteer Coordinators will get in touch with you within 24hrs to arrange an interview and training.
How do I find out about volunteer opportunities?
The best ways to find out about volunteer opportunities are by joining our WhatsApp groups after your interview. If you do not use WhatsApp, you can keep in touch with us via Email to see if there are any events or help needed. As well, keep an eye on our website for an updated list of upcoming events.
How old do I have to be to Volunteer?
We accept ages 14+Â NOTE:Â Some of the available positions for 14-15 are Drop in Room, Family Events, Fundraising, and assisting in the office. There are opportunities that come up throughout the year for ages 12-14.
Do I have to make a weekly commitment?
At Chai Lifeline Canada, we only require a weekly commitment for the Big Sibling program. If you would like to help us out on a regular weekly bases, we can work with you to help accommodate a time that works with your schedule.
Do I get reimbursed for the money I have spent for Chai Lifeline Canada?
Any money you spend for Chai Lifeline Canada, you will be fully reimbursed for and can do so here.  NOTE: For Big Siblings: to get reimbursed for food purchased, it must be certified Kosher.
What happens if I lose my receipts?
In the case of a lost receipt, we will unfortunately not be able to reimburse you. The best way to avoid loss of receipt and not being reimbursed, we ask that you take a picture of the receipt immediately.Â
